libjs-eventemitter2 software package provides Event emitter compatible with browsers, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-eventemitter2
libjs-eventemitter2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-eventemitter2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-eventemitter2 *
You will get with libjs-eventemitter2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
